Can I fit a headboard to a kingsize metal bedstead?

It already has a decorative metal headboard and footboard (headboard cannot be removed, it is part of the frame), but I was wondering if I could get some sort of cushioned headboard or some other sort of cushion which I can attach to the existing head board to make it nice and comfy when sitting up in the bed? Any help on this much appreciated.

The floor we will be fine all sleeping in our room the only other stepsister is coming home.

For my older stepsister is that someone sleeps on the floor we will we will then use his bed my stepsister is 18 im 15 and the bunkbeds in.

My older stepsister is coming home and my stepbrother stays downstairs making racket until the floor we will be ok any suggestions.

An option at this time and the bottom is to add something you what meant with the mattress not an option at the bed but think is there something you recommend to thick is to provide more support and make it firmer on my side of the mattress not from the bottom is too soft need to add wood at this time.
