A few years back, Nike and Adidas (to name a few) offered tennis shoes that were all leather, except the outsole part. That was the same rubber stuff like we have today. But otherwise, there wasn’t any cloth in them. The collar and the foot bed, or what some people call a “sockliner”, were both leather or possibly fake leather. All I can find are some shoes that have the leather collar, but I can’t find any with the leather sockliner. Any ideas if these are still made, and if so by who?
I do not think they still make those. Your best bet is probably to look on ebay.
